Correction and Retraction Policy

ThufuLA: Jurnal Inovasi Pendidikan Guru Raudhatul Athfal is committed to maintaining the accuracy, transparency, and integrity of the scholarly record. Corrections and retractions are handled in accordance with publication ethics standards and the nature of the identified issue.

1. Erratum
An erratum is issued to correct errors or omissions in a published article that do not require retraction, such as errors in data, tables, figures, or author information. The correction notice will describe the error and the changes made. The original article will remain accessible, and the erratum will be linked to it to ensure transparency.

2. Retraction
A retraction is issued when a published article is found to contain seriously unreliable findings, fabricated or falsified data, plagiarism, duplicate publication, research misconduct, or other substantial violations of publication ethics, including failure to obtain informed consent for research involving children. Differences in scholarly interpretation or opinion alone are not grounds for retraction.
Retracted articles will remain accessible in the journal archive but will be clearly marked as retracted. A retraction notice explaining the reasons will be published and linked to the original article. Where an article contains content that threatens the privacy or safety of child participants, that content may be removed.

3. Publisher’s Note
A Publisher’s Note is issued to address significant errors arising from the journal’s editorial or production process, including errors in article metadata, DOI, or publication details. Where necessary, the article may be corrected or replaced with a revised version, with the changes documented transparently. Minor typographical errors that do not affect scholarly content may be corrected without a separate notice.

4. Editorial Responsibility
The Editor-in-Chief and the Editorial Team are responsible for evaluating reported errors and deciding on the appropriate action. Decisions are based on the available evidence, the significance of the issue, and applicable publication ethics standards. The relevant authors may be contacted for clarification, and all formal notices will be linked to the affected article.

This policy follows established scholarly publishing practices, including the relevant guidance of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), to safeguard the integrity of ThufuLA’s published content.
